The Statue of Christ-King at Garajau, raised to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, is located at the Ponta do Garajau viewpoint, which offers a magnificent view.
The monument, dedicated on the 30th October 1927, consists of a statue of Christ with open arms facing the ocean and it is the work of French sculptor Georges Serraz.
Garajau beach can be accessed by paying a ride on the cable car. The stellar attraction of this beach is its calm and crystal clear waters, highly prized among scuba divers.

A Estátua do Cristo Rei do Garajau é uma obra da autoria do escultor francês Georges Serraz, erigida ao Sagrado Coração de Jesus, encontra-se no miradouro da Ponta do Garajau, que oferece uma magnífica vista.
O monumento consiste numa estátua de Cristo de braços abertos, voltada para o oceano.
Na base da falésia do Garajau localiza-se a Praia do Garajau. O acesso a esta praia poderá ser feito através de teleférico. A particularidade desta praia reside nas suas águas calmas e cristalinas são muito procuradas pelos praticantes de mergulho.
